Trip Overview

Bardia National Park, One of the 12 National Parks in Nepal, situates in the South-West part of Nepal. Preserving the Unspoiled Nature, this National Park was established in 1998AD, which covers 986 Sq Km. It remains a tropical ecstasy of rare wild animals, pristine wilderness, gigantic timberlands, and striking Tharu communal. In terms of habitats and greeneries, it positions top in Nepal. 

The National Park contains sedimentary prairie along with deciduous forestry where different species of flora and fauna are preserved. Unlike Chitwan National Park, Bardia is yet to be commercialized. As a result, travelers feel less crowded, more wilderness, and unspoiled nature in this Park. Another fantastic fact about Bardiya is the settlement of indigenous Tharu communities. They are living following unique values, assumptions, and ways of living. 

This National Park is connected with Banke National Park and is famous for protecting several endangered habitats as Royal Bengal Tigers, One-horned Rhinos, Gangetic dolphins, Gharial crocodile, and many more. Furthermore, this National Park is the residence of 642 species of animals, 125 species of fish, and 407 species of birds. 

Being a bit far from Kathmandu, travelers fly Nepalgunj and travel to Bardia National Park using the roadways. It takes approximately 2 hours by car/bus, and the distance is 90 kilometers. Tourists enjoy cultural dance programs, float safari, bird-watching, and other jungle activities for the next three days. Using the same way travel to return to Kathmandu before their final departure.

Detailed Itinerary

  • Our Wildlife journey to Bardia starts with a scenic one hr.'s morning flight to Nepalgunj.
  • Upon reaching Nepalgunj, you will be transferred to Bardia. It approximately takes approximately a couple of hours to get Bardia. 
  • As you reach the Hotel, you can relax for a while, getting some refreshment drinks. 
  • After lunch, you will have a guided tour of the Tharu villages nearby, where you can explore the culture, traditions, festivals, and the way of living of Tharu people around. 
  • Then your journey heads towards Crocodile Breeding Centre
  • Enjoy the dinner and get relaxed.

Overnight at:Bardia

  • Early in the morning, you will get a wake-up call from the hotel staff. 
  • After Breakfast, we march into the jungle with our experienced nature guide.
  • As we pack our lunch from the hotel, we shall spend our whole day in the jungle. 
  • Jungle walk is a thrilling and adventurous way of exploring wildlife and birds closely. 
  • During the journey, you can glimpse Royal Bengal Tiger, one-horned rhino, Leopard, Striped Hyena, Asian elephant, Black Buck, different species of Deer, Golden Jackal, Barasingha, Bull, Wild Dog, Wild Boar, Nilgai, and many more. 
  • After completing the journey, we get back to our hotel in the late afternoon. 
  • In the evening, you will be welcomed to the Tharu Cultural Dance. 
  • Returning from the dance, get a delicious dinner, and go to sleep.

Overnight at:Bardia

  • Wake up call in the early morning. Get refreshments having coffee/tea. 
  • After breakfast, we head for the Karnali River using a private vehicle. 
  • Upon reaching Karnali, we will catch a Float Safari that cooperates with you to explore River Wildlife. During the course, you may sightsee endangered Gharial crocodile, marsh mugger, and Gangetic dolphins.
  • Apart from the Aquatics, you will get ample opportunity to glimpse species of different permanent and migratory birds. 
  • Consuming our packed lunch, we explore the sub-tropical landscape, greeneries, and abundant wildlife round before getting back to our hotel. 
  • Enjoy your dinner and spend overnight in the same hotel.

Overnight at:Bardia

  • The last day of our Bardia National Park Tour begins with the wake-up call. 
  • After breakfast, we traffic for Elephant Back Safari
  • While doing so, you will get ample fortuitous seeing wildlife. In addition, you will be supplementary locked desking back to the Elephant, which saves from the latent wild outbreaks. 
  • After the safari, you will be driven to Nepalgunj for the final departure. One of our representatives will bid a farewell in the Nepalgunj Airport.
