Our 1st Bake Sale: Celebrating Life and enjoying dessert too!

Wrapped in Love and all of our wonderful volunteers have been busy baking and spreading love, too…Lots of wonderful things are happening.

The weekend of June 21st … we had our “1st Bake Sale” at the Crafton Library and we are pleased to announce that it was a BIG success!

We would like to extend a very special thank you to the Crafton Library and the Crafton Board Members, ALL of the wonderful bakers and everyone who donated and attended. You all are wonderful. All proceeds will be used to purchase blankets and tote bag; many patients will be comforted and feel loved.

It was truly an inspiring weekend of people coming together to support our mission to comfort cancer patients, meeting new people, sharing stories of others who had experienced cancer, as well as taking a minute to enjoy a cup of coffee and purchasing delicious homemade goodies. We called it; “The best little bakery in town this weekend.” But, it was much more than just a bake sale it was taking a minute to celebrate life and enjoying dessert, too!

I would like to thank my (bake sale team partner) Linda Sheariss, for endless hours of baking all of the delicious homemade goodies and precious time to help make this event a BIG success! It was fun working on this project together.

Thank you to Erin Sheariss for helping with setting up and being head cashier and Pat Radford for helping with the bake sale, great conversation and promotion!

It was a pleasure to meet everyone and we look forward to doing it again next year. Thank you all for helping us to spread love!
